About
Dead Culture is an independent online magazine, launched in 2026, entirely dedicated to the zombie universe in all its forms — from Romero's Night of the Living Dead to the latest Netflix productions.
Why Dead Culture
The zombie genre is everywhere — in cinema, TV, games, books, comics — but information on it is scattered. AllMovie covers everything, IGN covers everything, Letterboxd aggregates without curation. No one covers the zombie genre in depth, with a real editorial line. Dead Culture fills that gap.
Our angle
We don't treat zombies as a comedic sub-genre or a simple political metaphor. It's a major popular culture genre, with cult works, authors, internal debates, anticipated releases. We cover it as such: argued reviews, honest rankings, tracking of official announcements, transparent purchase recommendations.
Scope
Films, TV and streaming series, books and novels, comics and graphic novels, video games. Classic zombies, infected (28 Days Later, The Last of Us), undead in all forms. As long as a mass threat transforms or destroys humanity, it's in scope.
Independence
Dead Culture belongs to no media group, receives no funding from studios or publishers, sells no ad space. Our business model is Amazon Associates affiliation (you buy a product through our links, we earn a commission, the price stays the same for you). See our affiliate policy.
